Kesha and Macklemore have announced a co-headlining tour they call “The Adventures of Kesha & Macklemore” that will hit 30 cities in North America from June – August of 2018.
The pop/rap sensations paired up earlier this year for a track called “Good Old Days” on Macklemore’s sophomore album Gemini. Now, they’ll reunite for a tour that’s about more than just the music. The duo have decided to donate one dollar from every ticket sold to charities of their choosing: Kesha will donate proceeds to RAINN (Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network) and Macklemore to M Plus1, which advances racial and social justice through the M&RL Equity Fund.
“The Adventures of Kesha & Macklemore” kicks off June 6 in Phoenix, Arizona. Both artists will have just wrapped up individual tours overseas, Macklemore promoting his album Gemini in Europe and Kesha promoting the recently released Rainbow in Australia.
A presale process that includes Citi cardholders, Spotify users, and Live Nation mobile app users begins this Wednesday, December 13. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 15 at noon local time.
