Festival season is right around the corner, and following last year’s pilot-program success, Live Nation is bringing back Festival Passports, which allow fans to attend over 100 music festivals across the globe with a single pass.

After they were introduced last year, Live Nation Festival Passports sold out within 24 hours. The company will now dish out a whopping 2,500 general passes for the 2018 season – doubling the figure from last year. Additionally, a limited 100 new VIP passes will be available. It may seem like a hefty price to pay – GA tier of the Festival Passport is $999 USD, while the VIP tier is $5,000 USD – however, tickets to one music festival alone are anywhere between $100 and $1,000 anyway.

Pass holders will have access to U.S. festivals like Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Electric Daisy Carnival, Sasquatch!, Sloss, Voodoo, and the Billboard Hot 100 Festival, along with various festivals overseas like Australia’s Falls Festival, Poland’s Impact Festival and the UK’s Edinburgh Summer Sessions. A full list of the 100+ festivals can be found here, via Live Nation.

“Music festivals are all about the experience and we created Festival Passport as an innovative way to amplify that for music fans across all of our 100+ festivals worldwide,” said Lisa Licht, CMO of Live Nation U.S. Concerts. “Festival Passport is Live Nation’s tribute to our incredible festival community, and we’re excited to continue to build on the program this year by increasing the number of Festival Passports available and adding a brand new VIP tier. Those who purchased the Festival Passport last year have become part of the Live Nation family. Their passion for Live Nation and our festivals is awesome!”

Live Nation is utilizing their Verified Fan program to “ensure fans are the only ones getting access to this special program” and in an effort to “avoid scalpers.” Registration for passes began yesterday, April 9 and closes April 12 at 8 p.m. PDT. Fans who receive a code then have the chance to purchase a GA or VIP Festival Passport when the passes go on sale next Tuesday, April 17 at 8 a.m. PDT. Register here as a Verified Fan and click here to purchase tickets when available. Even when registered in the Verified Fan program, tickets are not guaranteed, as the company expects an overwhelming amount of interest.

Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
