City to use SeatGeek’s primary ticketing software, SeatGeek Enterprise, to give supporters a best-in-class buying experience

NEW YORK, NY (April 20, 2018) — SeatGeek today announced a multi-year partnership with Premier League champions Manchester City Football Club to become the club’s official primary ticketing partner, starting in the 2018-19 season. Manchester City – one of the five most valuable football clubs in the world according to Forbes Magazine – will use SeatGeek’s powerful SeatGeek Enterprise ticketing platform (SRO) to continue to improve the fan experience and streamline systems and processes.

Manchester City fans will find it easier than ever before to select the seats they want, while the club will have increased flexibility and clarity through SeatGeek Enterprise’s rules-based engine and reporting. The club’s executive team have wide-ranging ambitions to develop ticketing, membership and corporate hospitality solutions, and selected SeatGeek and the SRO platform following a detailed review of the sports ticketing market.

Manchester City will join a growing number of UK-based clubs that leverage SeatGeek as their primary ticketing provider, including 25 percent of the Premier League. The New York-based company has seen strong momentum around the world in recent months, having recently announced partnerships with the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints, and the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans.

As part of the partnership the SeatGeek Enterprise ticketing solution will be used by Manchester City Football Club and Manchester City Women’s Football Club. The SeatGeek Enterprise platform will be used extensively across the club’s Etihad Campus headquarters, and will form an integral part of the club’s transactional software and reporting systems.
