The Green Bay Packers are celebrating their 100th season as a team with a 16-month long celebration of the Packer’s history, including a variety of events throughout the year.

‘Celebration Weekend,’ which is presented by SiriusXM, Culver’s, Ticketmaster, and Jack Link’s Protein Snacks, will commence on September 7 with the annual Green & Gold Gala at Lambeau Field Atrium. On the next day, Steve Miller, who is originally from Milwaukee, will perform a free show for fans at 7:30 p.m. near the Oneida Nation Gate. 74-year-old Miller hasn’t played in Green Bay since the 1992 concert at Brown Couty Veterans Memorial Arena.

On Sunday, the Packers will face the Chicago Bears. The Lambeau Field parking lots and Johnsonville Tailgate Village will open at 3:20 p.m. and gates will open at 5:20 p.m. Fans who enter the stadium on gameday will receive a commemorative giveaway.

In addition to Celebration Weekend, festivities will commence throughout the year. Fans can join the 100 Seasons celebration with “100 Days of Givewaways,” with different prizes awarded each day through July 17. Featured alumni will appear at the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh from July 23 to 29, including an appearance from Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy and a performance from TundraLine. Murphy will also welcome fans at Wisconsin’s State Fair in Milwaukee, which runs from August 2 through 12, and the Taste of Madison in Madison on September 1-2.

Events will run through the franchise’s 100th birthday on August 11, 2019. To view the different celebrations and festivities, visit the Green Bay Packers’ website.
