The rockstar Billy Idol has revealed dates through 2019 for a Las Vegas residency at the Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Concert Theater.
Idol will be joined in Vegas by his longtime guitarist Steve Stevens as well as his touring band.
“Steve Stevens, my band and I have played Vegas many times and its always been a blast,” Idol said in a statement. “We can’t stay away! Las Vegas keeps us coming back for more. Let’s make these shows at the Pearl Theater at Palms Casino Resort the best yet!”
The residency will take place in January and October 2019 – both for five nights at a time. Throughout the residency, Idol will play various songs throughout his career, including tracks from his time with Generation X, as well as tunes from his seven solo records.
Idol, 62, is best-known for his hit song “Dancing with Myself” with Generation X, followed by “White Wedding” off of his debut solo record. The 1983 album Rebel Yell further catapulted him into stardom with the title track and “Eyes Without a Face.” He continued with albums like Charmed Life, Cyberpunk, Devil’s Playground, and most recently, 2014’s Kings & Queens of the Underground. His latest scored a spot on the Billboard 200 as well as Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart.
