The legendary rock icon Sir Elton John just announced that he will be extending his Farewell Yellow Brick Road world tour through late 2019.

Currently, the star is on the first leg of shows in North America, which just kicked-off on September 8 in Pennsylvania; he is set to continue through February 2019 before headed to Europe. The 25 newly-announced dates will make stops across Canada, hitting Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and Toronto. He will also appear in cities like Indianapolis, Nashville, Philadelphia, and Boston before wrapping-up in Long Island, New York in November.

While these new dates are in the U.S. and Canada, John noted that he plans to visit Asia in November 2019, Australia in December 2019, and South America in 2020. Then, he would like to conclude the massive trek after another run of dates throughout Europe and the UK in 2020 and an additional North American leg in 2021.

John announced at a New York press conference earlier this year that he is retiring from touring because he can’t “physically do the traveling anymore.” However, he’s open to continue creating music in the future following his 300-date trek.

“That doesn’t mean I won’t still be creative,” John said. “But I won’t travel any more … I don’t want to go out with a whimper. I want to go out with a bang … It’ll be the most produced, fantastic show I’ve ever done.”
