The former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will head out on a cross-country arena tour with dates through 2019.
The tour, dubbed “An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton,” will kick-off on November 18 in Las Vegas, Nevada and make stops in Toronto, Montreal, and Sugar Land, Texas later this year. Next year, the trek will continue for nine more dates, hitting New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, British Columbia, and Washington before wrapping-up in Los Angeles, California on May 4, 2019.
Throughout the trek, Bill and Hillary will share “stories and inspiring anecdotes that shaped their historic careers in public service, while also discussing issues of the day and looking toward the future,” Live Nation said in a statement.
“Attendees will have the opportunity to hear one-of-a-kind conversations with the two leaders as they tell their stories from some of the most impactful moments in modern history,” Live Nation continued. “From the American presidency to the halls of the Senate and State Department, to one of the United States’ most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections, they provide a unique perspective on the past, and remarkable insight into where we go from here.”
The Clintons’ tour follows Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s announcement of her tour in support of the memoir Becoming. Obama’s tour, which will run from November 13 to December 17, will include commentary about her personal and professional life, and her journey from South Side Chicago to the White House.
