Hugh Jackman, known for his role in the hit musical film The Greatest Showman, has announced plans to head out on a musical world tour.

Jackman made the announcement on the Today Show. While some believed the big news would involve his return to Wolverine, he instead shocked fans with a massive North American and European trek.

“The Man. The Music. The Show.” will kick-off next May in Hamburg, followed by shows across Europe. The North American leg of the tour will begin on June 18 in Houston, Texas, hitting cities like Chicago, New York City, Denver, and Atlanta before wrapping-up in Los Angeles on July 20. Throughout the run, the Tony-Award winning actor will perform songs from his various musical performances, like The Boy From Oz and Les Miserables, but will mainly focus on music from The Greatest Showman.

“This is a dream come true for me,” Jackman said. “I’ve done it in Australia and now I’m going to go around the world. I’m going to cities all over America, we’re going to Europe, we’re going to the U.K., we’re going back to Australia. I’m singing, I’m dancing, I’m telling stories.”

The musical film, which debuted in December 2017, also included stars Zac Efron, Michelle Williams and Rebecca Ferguson. Within a few weeks of its release, the film’s soundtrack hit No. 1 on Billboard’s 200 albums chart and became one of only seven soundtracks to spend over 30 weeks in the top 10 list.
