The hard-rockers of Godsmack will head out on a North American outing next spring with Volbeat in support of their 2018 record When Legends Rise.
The group wrapped-up a co-headlining trek with Shinedown over the summer, and previously-announced a European tour which was postponed following guitarist Tony Rombola’s loss of his son. Their European tour kicks-off in early February and will run through late March with Like A Storm.
In April, they’ll return to the states for festivals in Arizona and Florida. Then, they’ll hit the road with Volbeat, kicking-off in Nashville, Tennessee on April 16 and will make stops in cities like Grand Rapids, Milwaukee, and Omaha. Eleven of the shows will be held throughout Canada, stopping in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and Abbotsford, among others. During most of the Canada dates, Volbeat will co-headline the shows.
Godsmack’s When Legends Rise was released this past April, scoring a spot on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 spot on the Top Rock Albums, Hard Music Albums, Alternative Albums, and Independent Albums charts. The record features the title track and “Bulletproof.”
Volbeat is due to release Let’s Boogie! Live From Telia Parken this Friday. The album is a concert film commemorating their show at Copenhagen’s soccer stadium, which drew in over 48,000 fans. The group’s last record was 2016’s Seal The Deal & Let’s Boogie.
