The indie-rock artist Hozier, who grew to fame with his debut self-titled record and smash hit “Take Me To Church,” will head out on a headlining tour ahead of his second album.
Hozier recently wrapped-up his sold-out North America tour this fall in support of the EP Nina Cried Power. He will return to the states next spring, kicking things off in Buffalo, New York on March 10. From there, he’ll make stops in cities like Raleigh, Nashville, Dallas, Tulsa, Las Vegas, and Santa Barbara before ending in Spokane, Washington on April 14. He will be joined by Jade Bird on all dates.
Wasteland, Baby! via Columbia Records is due sometime next spring. While an official date hasn’t been announced, Hozier noted that it will “coincide” with the tour. Last month, he released the track “Movement,” which will be featured on the new LP and will follow Nina Cried Power, which was released in September. The four-song EP included the title track, featuring Mavis Staples and Booker T. Jones.
“I’ve enjoyed incredible support from fans in North America and I am thrilled to be going back there soon to play this music live,” Hozier said in a statement.
