The punk-rock group SWMRS, hailing from Oakland, California, have revealed a string of tour dates in support of their sophomore record, Berkeley’s On Fire.

After kicking-off the tour early this year across Europe and the UK, SWMRS will head to the U.S. for a show in San Diego, California on March 28. From there, they’ll hit cities like Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn, Toronto, and Seattle before wrapping-up in Los Angeles, California on May 3. During the North America run, California-based bands The Regrettes and Beach Goons will open the show.

Berkeley’s On Fire is due February 15 via Fueled By Ramen. So far, the record is set to feature previously-released singles “Berkeley’s On Fire” and “April In Houston.” This is the band’s first release since their 2016 debut, Drive North, known for hits “Miley,” “Palm Trees,” and “Figuring It Out.” Lead vocalist Cole Becker explained that the new LP is a different twist from their past music.

“It’s a strange time to be young; our generation knows the duality of feeling like an unstoppable force for change in one moment and a powerless wreck in the next,” Becker said in a press release. “We wanted these songs to document that feeling that we’ve observed closely in ourselves and in the people we’ve shared our music with over the past three years.”

Throughout the past few years,  SWMRS have made a name for themselves in the industry, opening for acts like Blink-182, All Time Low, and even the band fronted by drummer Joey Armstrong’s dad, Green Day.
