Country superstar Carrie Underwood left a handful of fans feeling extra special on Valentine’s Day when she surprised them with a paid dinner and free tickets to a show on her upcoming tour.
According to Sounds Like Nashville, Underwood surprised three couples who were having dinner at the restaurant Sinema in Nashville. At the end of their five-course “All You Need Is Love” meal, the couples were handed a rose, two cards, and two tickets instead of a check.
The first card, printed on Underwood’s own stationary, read:
“SURPRISE! Your dinner have been taken care of this evening. Happy Valentine Day! xoxo, Carrie Underwood. #LoveWins.”
The second card invited the pair to “enjoy another date night at Carrie Underwood’s The Cry Pretty Tour 360 in Nashville this September 27th.” It noted that a representative will contact the couple with further information.
The couples took to social media to share the surprise.
Underwood will tour this summer in support of her sixth studio album Cry Pretty, which features the title track power ballad. The tour will kick-off this May and hit over 50 cities across the country before wrapping-up on Halloween.
