After trying to reschedule a Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons concert for almost five months, a North Carolina venue had to call-off the show.

Originally, the concert was scheduled for September 28, 2018 at the Wilson Center in Wilmington, but due to Hurricane Florence, the gig was pushed back. The venue tried to find a date that suited all parties, but a rescheduled show wasn’t possible.

“After nearly 5 months of trying unsuccessfully to find a suitable date to reschedule the concert, taking into account Mr. Valli’s touring schedule as well as our own event schedule, we have determined that it will be best for all concerned to go ahead and cancel the show completely and refund all ticketing money to those who had purchased tickets,” the venue said in a statement.

“The Wilson Center is looking forward to the opportunity to bring Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to our community in the future, and will be thrilled to announce such a concert, should it be scheduled.”

Ticketholders can receive refunds at their point of purchase.

Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons have been touring since 2016 at select small-to-mid-size venues across the country. The band is due to make stops in California this March at Beverly Hill’s Saban Theatre and Indio’s Fantasy Springs Resort Casino before heading to cities like Detroit, Cleveland, Las Vegas, Nashville, and Atlantic City.
