Nu-metal legands of Korn will join the grunge-rock group Alice in Chains for a co-headlining North American tour this summer.

The tour will kick-off in Austin, Texas on July 18. From there, they’ll make stops in cities like Nashville, Camden, Hartford, Toronto, Cincinnati, Denver, and Phoenix before wrapping-up in Mountain View, California early September. Throughout the trek, they’ll be joined by Underoath, Fever 333, and H099o9.

Alice in Chains will be touring in support of their 2018 Grammy-nominated record Rainier Fog, which features singles “So Far Under” and “Never Fade.” This Spring, the group is headlining a solo tour in select Canada and U.S. cities. The band is best-known for their debut 1990 record Facelift, which was the first album from the grunge era to be certified gold with hits like “Man in the Box” and “We Die Young.”

Korn, on the other hand, is responsible for bringing nu-metal mainstream with 1998’s Follow The Leader. The LP, which featured “Freak On A Leash” and “Got The Life,” was certified five-times Platinum and is the band’s most commercially successful album to date. While Korn hasn’t released anything since 2016’s The Serenity of Suffering, they are reportedly working on a new album, set to be released later this year.

“We’ve got some amazing tricks up our sleeves,” Brian Welch of Korn told Consequence of Sound of the upcoming record, noting that “fans are going to be pleasantly surprised.”
