This year’s CMA Music Festival, set to feature Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Florida Georgia Line, took the top spot on yesterday’s best-selling events list, Ticket Club sales data reveals.
Artists Ariana Grande, Kiss, Celine Dion, The Rolling Stones and Elton John sold well, along with Wu-Tang Clan, Luke Bryan, and Loretta Lynn’s All-Star Birthday concert. K-pop sensation BTS scored a spot for their upcoming stadium world tour. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo was also a hot commodity of the day for shows featuring Kane Brown, George Strait, Lyle Lovett, and Robert Earl Keen.
The boxing match between Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs clocked in at No. 3 for the fight this May, followed by the fight Errol Spence Jr. v. Mikey Garcia. Basketball sold well for games Miami Heat v. Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers v. Denver Nuggets, followed by hockey’s Edmonton Oilers v. Toronto Maple Leafs. WWE’s WrestleMania XXXV was also among the day’s best-sellers.
