Circuit of the Americas (COTA) announced the headlining performers for its annual concert series at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix this fall, featuring rock band Imagine Dragons and popstar P!nk.
The Grand Prix is set to run from November 1 through 3 in Austin. The chart-toppers of Imagine Dragons, who just released Origins late last year featuring “Natural,” are set to take the stage on November 1. “What About Us” singer P!nk, coming off the heels of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour, will perform on the following night, November 2. So far, these are the only artists scheduled to perform at the series.
Bobby Epstein, the founder and chairman of COTA, explained in a statement that COTA is “thrilled” to have P!nk and Imagine Dragons on the lineup.
“COTA is proud to host such an exciting, non-stop weekend of entertainment, bringing together the best of racing, through Formula 1 USGP, and music in welcoming these internationally-renowned artists to the Live Music Capital of the World,” he said.
Since becoming a part of the Formula One World Championship, the United States Grand Prix has been held 48 times and has taken place across 10 different locations. This year’s event will offer a rain plan guarantee, meaning that ticket holders who reserve seats before August 31 will get 105 percent of their ticket price back if it rains more than 1.5 inches within 24-hours of the race.
Tickets to the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix are available next Tuesday, April 23. Fans can sign up through COTA to receive information on ticket packages here. Three-day race tickets, which includes admission to both concerts, start at $175, and single-day bleachers and Main Grandstand tickets will also be up-for-grabs.
