Metalcore band Fit For A King, hailing from Dallas, Texas, are heading out on a summer headlining North American tour this summer in support of their latest record, Dark Skies.
The group will kick-off the outing on July 17 in Colorado Springs, followed by gigs in cities like Quebec, Memphis, Austin, Grand Rapids, Columbus, and Jacksonville. They’ll make stops at Cincinnati’s 20th Century Theatre, Lancaster’s Chameleon Club, Blue Moose in Iowa, and FUBAR in St. Louis, while also appearing at Rock USA in Wisconsin and Maine’s Impact Music Festival before wrapping- up at Crossroads in Tyler, Texas on August 18.
During the trek, they’ll be joined by Norma Jean, Currents, and Left Behind, with Afterlife on select dates.
Dark Skies dropped last September and features singles “Tower of Pain,” “The Price of Agony,” “When Everything Means Nothing,” and “Oblivion.” The LP follows 2016’s Deathgrip and Slave to Nothing from 2014. The band is best-known for Deathgrip‘s “Dead Memory” and “Cold Room,” as well as Creation/Destruction‘s “Skin & Bones.”
