Now, parents don’t have to worry about finding a babysitter for their kids for a Colts game – children 24 months old or younger can now get into Lucas Oil Stadium for free.

While parents have been bringing babies to games for years, this is an extra incentive to boost attendance.

TFL and ATBS for ticketing professionals

“Being in the Midwest – Indianapolis and some of the surrounding areas, we’re already known as a very family friendly place, I think we want to make sure that our game days reflect our larger community,” Stephanie Pemberton, vice president of marketing for the Colts, said in a statement.

“We’ve got tons of moments you can share and make memories with your children,” she said. “But now, not having to purchase that ticket for your infant – who’s going to sit on your lap anyway – I think it’s just another way to say, ‘We’re thinking about our families and trying to make it as easy as possible for them to come.’”

In addition to the free ticket for babies, other family-friendly changes will be implemented this year. During the Colts’ preseason game against the Cleveland Browns on August 17, a “family four pack” ticket will be available for $60. Additionally, kids meals, which includes a hot dog, apple slices, string cheese, and a juice box, will be for sale for $5, and children under age 15 will get an arm sleeve on game days. Just to be safe, parents can also request a wristband for their child that includes their name, seat location, and emergency phone number in case they get lost.

Now, parents will just need to invest in some sound-cancelling headphones for the little ones!

This season, the Colts will play the Chargers during Week 1 on September 8. From there, they’ll play the Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons, Oakland Raiders, and Kansas City. Check out all upcoming games via Ticket Club.
