“Boom Clap” singer Charli XCX just announced a world tour to support the release of her forthcoming record Charli.
The tour will kick-off in Atlanta, Georgia at Buckhead Theatre on September 20. From there, she’ll visit smaller venues like Dallas’ House of Blues, Fox Theatre in Oakland, Rebel in Toronto, and Terminal 5 in New York City, making stops along the way in Philadelphia, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Vancouver. In late October, she’ll head overseas to perform throughout Europe and the U.K. before wrapping-up in Moscow on November 28.
Charli is due September 13 via Atlantic Records and will include previously released tracks “1999” with Troye Sivan, “Blame It On Your Love,” with Lizzo, and “Gone” with Christine And The Queens. Haim, Sky Ferreira, Kim Petras, Big Freedia, CucaKKe, Clairo, and Yaeki will also be featured on the LP. This will be her first release since 2017’s mixtapes Pop 2 and Number 1 Angel as well as the follow-up to 2014’s full-length Sucker.
“My album is beautiful & soft & aggressive & emotional & clubby & tender all at once,” she said in a tweet last week. “I’ve really put all of ME into this. Every aspect of my personality, truth about romantic relationships, working relationships, friends. It’s honest & raw & I can’t wait for u to hear it.”
