Matt and Kim have announced a tour that will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Grand, their 2009 breakthrough LP.

The duo are slated to kick-off the 29-date outing mid-October in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by gigs in Pittsburgh, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Dallas, and Philadelphia. They’ll play venues like Austin’s Emo’s, Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse, the Egyptian Room in Indianapolis, Boston’s House of Blues, and Manhattan’s Terminal 5 before wrapping-up at the Brooklyn Steel. One city and venue on October 27 is yet to be revealed.

“In celebration of its 10 year anniversary, we’re going on a US tour playing our album Grand in its entirety (as well as a bunch of other songs)!” Matt said in a statement. “This album totally changed me and Kim’s lives, but some of the songs off Grand we’ve never even played live before. We’re really excited we get to do this trip and we’ve never done anything like it. It’s gonna be special.”

Grand, was released in January 2009 and featured the single “Daylight” as well as tracks “Lessons Learned,” “I Wanna,” and “I’ll Take Us Home.” Billboard described the record as “a bit toned down from Matt & Kim’s first albums,” but it “maintains the spunk, high energy and carefree attitutde that caught people’s attention in the first place.” Following its release, the indie-electronic group went on to make Sidewalks, Lightning, and New Glow. Their most recent record, Almost Everyday, is garnering attention for “Happy If You’re Happy” and “Glad I Tried.”
