Ticket Club sales data revealed that Carrie Underwood, Madde and Tae & Runaway June were yesterday’s top-selling event for their show in Lafayette, Louisiana as a part of Underwood’s Cry Pretty Tour.
The country music scene had two more spots in the top twenty: CMA Music Festival and the Farm Aid festival. Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews will headline Farm Aid 2019 at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy on September 21, while Tim Reynolds, Bonnie Raitt, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Margo Price, Jamey Johnson, Tanya Tucker, Brothers Osborne, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Yola, and Particle Kid will also take the stage. Slayer and Elton John’s Farewell tours sold well, along with tickets to see Jennifer Lopez, Paul McCartney, Queen, Khalid, and Billie Eilish.
Yesterday’s top selling sports event was the International Champions Cup slated for later this month in New Jersey. Other top-selling games include the US Open Tennis Championship Men’s Finals and the International Friendly. Two games between two sets of rivals were hot-sellers, with games pitting the New England Patriots vs. New York Giants and the Yankees vs. Red Sox selling into the top twenty.
