The Pixies are bringing things down a notch for an intimate North American tour later this year.

The six-date trek, which is being dubbed as “close up and personal,” will kick-off with a two-night gig at Los Angeles’ Troubadour on December 2 and 3. From there, they’ll head upstate to San Francisco for a gig at August Hall before heading cross-country for a show at the newly-renovated Webster Hall in New York City and Big Night Live in Boston. The Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto will wrap-up the brief outing on December 10.

Currently, the group is touring across Europe and are set to make stops next month in cities like Prague, Munich, Paris, Brussels, and Barcelona before closing in Galicia, Spain late October. These shows across North America in December will be their last before their massive tour in 2020. Next year’s outing will support their latest LP, Beneath The Eyrie, which dropped on September 13.

Pixies have made a name for themselves in the indie-rock genre over the years. During the live shows, Pixies will not have a prepared set list, allowing each set to change depending on the night, a press release notes. The band will determine which songs to play write before they play them – pulling from 90 songs in their catalog like “Here Comes Your Man,” “Where Is My Mind,” “Hey,” “Debaser,” and “Gigantic.”
