Calexico and Iron & Wine, who just collaborated on an album, are heading out on tour together early next year.

Currently, the pair are on a fall tour through late November where they are performing their joint album as well as tracks from their retrospective bands. The 2020 trek will kick-off in late January with two gigs at Chicago’s Thalia Hall. They’ll continue with shows in Portland, Atlanta, Nashville, and Des Moines, stopping at venues along the way like New York City’s recently renovated Webster Hall, Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall, and the Palace Theatre in St. Paul before wrapping-up in Madison, Wisconsin at The Sylvee.

Years to Burn, Calexico and Iron & Wine’s first collaborative work, was released this past June. The record includes singles “Father Mountain” and “Midnight Sun.” Earlier this year, Iron and Wine also released the record Our Endless Numbered Days, which follows 2017’s Beast Epic. The duo Calexico last released The Thread That Keeps Us in 2018, along with the 20th anniversary edition of their 1998 album The Black Light.
