Country legend Garth Brooks will hit not only one, but two Dive Bar stops this December in one night.
The shows, which were announced this week on Brooks’ weekly Facebook live stream Inside Studio G, will take place on December 2. The sixth Dive Bar Tour stop will visit Mt. Laurel, New Jersey – right outside of Philadelphia – followed by the seventh and final show at Six String in Foxboro, Massachusetts later that night. At this time, the exact door time for each show has not been announced. Fans can score tickets to the show by tuning in to local country music radio stations through contests and drawings.
The Dive Bar Tour with Blake Shelton was revealed this past summer in support of the duo’s collaborative track of the same name. At the time, Brooks described his love for dive bars, noting “sometimes that’s your church.” Each show has been announced one at a time, and so far, the pair has stopped in towns like Rootstown, Ohio and New Braunfels, Texas, visiting bars along the way like Weed Street in Chicago, the Barn in Sanford, Florida, and Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace in Bakersfield.
Brooks is also in the middle of a stadium tour During each stop, he’s sold-out the stadium, even breaking records as the first artist to play the 88-year-old Notre Dame Stadium, holding the biggest concert to date at Bronco’s Stadium, and breaking the sales record at Heinz Field and Neyland Stadium.
