Oprah Winfrey has announced a long list of special guests to join her on her highly-anticipated 2020 tour.
The iconic TV show host, philanthropist and activist announced that she will bring a handful of inspirational people along for the ride, including former First Lady Michelle Obama, artists Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, and comedians Tina Fey and Amy Schumer. Additionally, former pro-wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, actresses Kate Hudson and Tracee Ellis Ross, and journalist Gayle King will appear throughout the tour.
‘Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life In Focus’ tour, which was announced in September, is Oprah’s first arena tour in five years. The outing will visit nine cities across the U.S., kicking-off in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on January 4. It will make stops in St. Paul, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Brooklyn, visiting venues like Dallas’ American Airlines Center, the Chase Center in San Francisco, and The Forum in Los Angeles before wrapping-up at Denver’s Pepsi Center on March 7.
Each show is intended to “motivate audiences to make 2020 the year of renewal and celebrate all we are meant to be,” celebrating “sustainability, healing, and the importance of movement.” Winfrey will share her wellness journal and help attendees develop their own action plan with motivating conversations and workbook exercises, a press release said of the tour, noting that Winfrey’s special guests are people who “took charge of their lives and created lasting change.”
