The punk-rockers of Bad Religion and Alkaline Trio are teaming for a co-headlining tour in 2020.

The cross-country trek will act as a continuation of Bad Religion’s 40th anniversary celebration; earlier this year, they embarked on several legs of a tour in support of the anniversary and the release of their 17th studio album Age of Unreason. They just wrapped-up a tour this past fall, and now, they’ll be hitting the road again in March for 18 dates with Alkaline Trio.

They’ll kick things off in Los Angeles, California at The Palladium, followed by shows in Denver, Norfolk, Buffalo, Toronto, and Chicago, hitting venues along the way like The Fillmore in Detroit, Worcester’s Palladium, the House of Blues in Orlando, and Stubb’s in Austin. Late April, they’ll wrap-up at Eagles Club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Alkaline Trio, who last dropped Is This Thing Cursed? in 2018, toured last year with Together Pangea. Vocalist Matt Skiba explained in a statement that Bad Religion influenced him, noting that the band was “one of my first loves.”

“I remember exactly where I was the first time I heard Suffer around age 12,” he said. “They are one of the very reasons I started playing punk rock music and continue to today. This tour is going to be epic on many levels. We’ve done Warped Tour and Festival shows many times over the years but this will be the first time it’s just us and I couldn’t be more thrilled!”
