Tickets dropping before Christmas are few and far between but some huge events, including the Liga MX Finals, will go on sale this weekend. Club América and Monterrey will faceoff in the Apertura Finals to determine the team heading out of 2019 on top. The final game of the season between the two teams will go on sale tomorrow.
Ricky Martin’s spring show in Mexico City will also go on sale. Martin’s Movimiento tour will bring him around Mexico, from Ensenada to Veracruz. Mariah Carey will return to Honolulu in March, with tickets on sale this weekend as well. Carey recently earned her 19th No. 1 for her classic holiday song “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
K-pop group Stray Kids’ world tour will also have tickets on sale to seven shows this winter. Stray Kids dropped their most recent EP Clé: LEVANTER earlier this month. Mexico’s Domination Festival will also release tickets this weekend. The Original Misfits and Def Leppard will headline the festival, with supporting sets from ska-punks Rancid and symphonic metal band Nightwish.
Country musicians are also among artists releasing tickets this weekend. Brett Young’s Verona show will go on sale Saturday, while Rodney Carrington’s two shows in Florence will go on sale Monday. Jeff Foxworthy’s stand-up show in Biloxi will also go on sale Saturday. Additional tickets on sale this weekend include the Doobie Brothers’ Mt. Pleasant show and the Banff Film Festival’s tour stop in Somerville.
