New Orleans’ annual BUKU Music & Arts Project has revealed its 2020 lineup, which will feature a handful of A-list stars.

The two-day event, set to take place from March 20 to 21 at Mardi Gras World, will feature hip-hop stars Tyler the Creator, Megan Thee Stallion, and JPEGMAFIA, EDM artists Flume, Alison Wonderland, and Zeds Dead, and pop singer Charli XCX. The rockers of Taking Back Sunday, Pussy Riot, and Turnstile will take the stage, as well as acts like TroyBoi, Space Jesus, and Chris Lake, among others.

BUKU, dubbed “a vibrant music and arts festival meets underground warehouse party celebrating the progressive subculture of New Orleans,” is meant to immerse festivalgoers in all forms of art. Five stages will host musicians under the bridge and New Orleans skyline, creating an “urban oasis.”

“We believe in those who strive to be dope,” organizers note on the festival’s website. “Originality, creativity, freedom and community is our anthem. If you’re in the Bukrewe, you know. If not, come join us.”

A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit the local non-profit Upbeat Academy Foundation, which aims to help offer opportunities to study hip-hop and dance music production to New Orleans youth. Tickets will head on sale this Friday, December 13.
