Motley Crue took over the best-selling events for the second day in a row, according to Ticket Club sales data. The Crue’s shows in Denver, Charlotte and Detroit took the top spots, with several other shows landing further down the list. Motley Crue will hit the road next summer with fellow 80’s rockers Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.
Motley Crue broke their much-publicized cessation of touring agreement, stating the band would never tour again after their 2015 farewell tour – the only loophole being all four band members would have to agree to a tour. That appears to be the case as they’re heading back out on the road for a stadium tour beginning in Miami and ending in Los Angeles.
Alanis Morissette broke Motley Crue’s almost-total takeover of the best-sellers with her Toronto show on her Jagged Little Pill 25th-anniversary tour. Garbage and Liz Phair will join Morissette on tour to celebrate her Grammy-winning album.
