Cincinnati locals hoping to catch the Reds’ Opening Day game on March 26 are in luck. The organization is rolling out a special ticket offer that not only grants admission into the Reds’ season opener against St. Louis, but also another regular season game of the fan’s choice.

The bundle deal, dubbed the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Double Play Ticket, is only available to select applicants who submit a free online registration before 12 p.m. on February 20. Winners will be selected at random “on or about” February 24 and will be notified via email .

If selected, fans can then purchase up to four Opening Day tickets. They will also have the option to purchase tickets for another Reds home game this season. If making a dual-game purchase, ticket quantity and seating category must be the same. However, there is no obligation to purchase at all.

The move marks a new trend for the Cincinnati Reds. It had previously been the long-standing tradition that Great American Ball Park ticket windows would be the main source for Opening Day tickets. As a result, fans would be forced to endure long lines and even set up camp for hours before the game. The club is doing away with their former ritual and will conduct all ticket sales via the online sweepstakes in an effort to “make Opening Day tickets available to as many fans as possible.”
