Indie-rock group The Front Bottoms are heading out on a brief headlining tour this summer.

The outing will kick-off on April 17 with the band’s largest concert to date at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom. From there, they’ll head to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Tampa, Orlando, Charleston and Asheville, hitting venues along the way like Portland, Maine’s Aura, Higher Ground in Burlington, Louisville’s Mercury Ballroom, and The NorVA in Norfolk before wrapping-up at the Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville. Along the way, they’ll also appear at Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta.

In December, The Front Bottoms returned with the single “Camouflage,” which will likely appear on their forthcoming record.  They last released the LP Going Grey in 2017, which featured tracks “Trampoline” and “Far Drive” and followed 2015’s Back On Top. The group is best-known for their breakthrough 2013 record Talon of the Hawk, which garnered attention with the smash-hit “Twin Size Mattress.”
