2025 Lucky Punks! Festival: Bad Religion, Dead Kennedys

Lucky Punks!, the craft beer and music festival, is set to take place on St. Patrick’s Day weekend, featuring performances from some of the top punk acts in the scene. The one-day event is set to commence on Saturday, March 15 at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, California, presented by Punk in the Park and Brew HaHa Productions.

Two California bands that helped define the punk genre in the ’80s and ’90s will headline the event: Bad Religion and Dead Kennedys. Dead Kennedys, formed in 1978 in San Francisco, satirized politics and authority in their music, known for their harsh lyrics and hardcore-punk sound. They gained popularity with tracks like “Holiday in Cambodia” and “Kill the Poor.” Bad Religion, hailing from Los Angeles, arrived on the scene in 1980. The band also garnered attention with politically-charged lyrics and hits like “Infected” and “Stranger Than Fiction.”

Alongside the two punk greats, the alternative-indie groups The Aquabats and Lagwagon will take the stage, alongside the punk-rockers of Street Dogs, who will be playing a 20th anniversary set of “Back to the World.” The Defiant, The Briggs, Pulley, and Hoist the Colors round-out the bill.

The news follows the announcement of the 2025 Punk in the Park San Francisco, taking place next May. The lineup includes acts like Pennywise, Screeching Weasel, Lagwagon, Comeback Kid, and Good Riddance.

Cameron Collins of Brew Ha Ha Productions noted in a statement that “this is going to be one hell of a celebration.”

“The fans have been telling us they want Punk in the Park back at Oak Canyon, so we’re bringing it – and we’re gonna go hard with this rendition we affectionately call LUCKY PUNKS,” Collins said. “Get ready, punks – this is one St. Patrick’s Day you won’t want to miss!”

Tickets to the festival head on sale here with general admission tickets starting at $54, followed by VIP tickets at $149.
