A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after stabbing another concertgoer at a metalcore show in San Antonio, Texas late last month, according to local reports.
The man, John Guerrero, was attending a show at the Paper Tiger, featuring a headlining performance from Life Cycles, as well as support from Fear of Loss, Voracious Contempt, Crossways 3000, and Public Threat.
During the gig, Guerrero got into a physical altercation with a 21-year-old man, local news station KSAT reported. According to the SAPD report, officers were dispatched to the venue at 10 p.m., and upon arrival, found the younger man outside the venue with multiple stab wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he is in stable condition and expected to recover, police said.
When police arrived at the venue, other concertgoers pointed out Guerrero, who was still inside the venue. Guerrero was apprehended and taken into custody. Police noted that he was in possession of a knife.
According to KSAT, Guerrero was booked on December 28 at Bexar County Adult Detention Center, where he was later released on a $100,000 bond. He is due in court on March 3.
