The Backstreet Boys (BSB) are bringing their 2008 Unbreakable Tour back to North America for a new round of late fall performances. The 14-city leg kicks off October 30 at Sovereign Center in Reading, PA, and wraps November 17 at Interior Savings Center in Kamloops, BC.

The boy band will hit four East Coast markets in the U.S., including the opening night performance, before completing the remaining dates in Canada. The other U.S. concerts are set for Halloween at the newly renovated Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, NJ, November 1 at Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and November 2 at the Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford, CT.

Canadian highlights include a November 4 gig at Pavillion de la Jeunesse in Quebec City, QC, and a November 8 show at John Labatte Centre in London, ON. Access to presales, exclusive soundcheck events and VIP packages is available through the official fan club Web site.

The Boys, now a quartet following the 2006 departure of co-founder Kevin Richardson, are continuing their support of the group’s sixth studio record “Unbreakable.” The 2007 release peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and topped the album charts in Japan, Turkey and Brazil.

The singers hit the road in February with a tour of Asia and the Pacific before continuing on to Mexico in March, and Europe in April and May. The first leg of the North American trek started with a July 29-30 run in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and wrapped September 6 in Seattle, WA. The tour comprised 14 shows in Canada, as well as 14 U.S. dates focused primarily in the Midwest and along the East Coast.

Formed in 1993 by Lou Pearlman, BSB is one the few remaining “boy band” acts that rose to popularity in the booming pop scene of the late ’90s. “To still be around feels amazing. So many artists, boy bands and rappers that started when we did have disbanded,” singer Howie Dorough said in a statement on the BSB Web site. “We look at artists like Eagles, the Rolling Stones or Aerosmith, where everyone has done individual things, but they are still able to come back together. I admire that kind of staying power.”
