Bob Dylan is an American singer-songwriter whose career has spanned more than four decades. His musical style has gone through various stages over the years, including elements of folk, blues, country, rock and gospel. Dylan has recorded more than 30 studio albums, making his self-titled debut in 1962 and releasing his first “Greatest Hits” compilation just years later in 1967.
Dylan has received dozens of awards and honors during his career, including induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and a Pulitzer Prize Special Citation in 2008. He has been recognized as one of the most influential recording artists in history.
