Justin Timberlake got his start in show business early on, first as a contestant on “Star Search” and later as one of the Mouseketeers on “The Mickey Mouse Club.” However, his big break into stardom came in 1998, when the boy band ‘N Sync (of which he was a member) released its first album, *NSYNC. After producing two more successful albums (which were the two fastest-selling albums of all time), the group decided to take a break in 2002. Timberlake then struck out on a solo career, releasing his album “Justified” in August of the same year.
Since then, he has continued his success in the music business, releasing his second solo album, “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” in 2006. He has also ventured into other areas: he has co-owned three restaurants, launched a career in acting (voicing the character of Artie Pendragon in “Shrek the Third” and appearing in “Black Snake Moan,” among other things), and created his own fashion and record labels.
