The on-again, off-again Van Halen reunion tour wound up grossing more that $93 million for 74 concerts, according to Billboard BoxScore. The Live Nation-promoted tour ended June 2 in Grand Rapids, MI, and the band played to close to 1 million people.

This marked the first Van Halen tour with 15 year-old bassist Wolfgang Van Halen on board joining father guitarist extraordinaire Eddie Van Halen and uncle drummer Alex Van Halen. It also marked the return of singer David Lee Roth to the fold, and was the first tour without bassist Michael Anthony, who was unceremoniously canned due to his kinship with previously ousted singer Sammy Hagar.

Throughout its run, the Van Halen tour consistently ranked among the top concert events based on ticket sales, according to TicketNews’s exclusive weekly event rankings.

The tour took a few bumps and postponements due to Eddie Van Halen entering rehab last year, and then after Eddie experienced health problems earlier this year.
