Iconic classic band Fleetwood Mac has undergone various personnel changes, and fluctuating periods of critical and commercial success over the course of its four-decade career. Formed in 1967, the crew is best known for its lineup of singer Stevie Nicks, drummer Mick Fleetwood, bassist John McVie, guitarist Lindsey Buckingham and former keyboardist Christine McVie. Driven by the continued popularity of albums such as 1977's "Rumours," Fleetwood Mac is in position as one of the best selling artists ever, having sold more than 48.5 million records according to the RIAA.
Due to the band's popularity, ticket sales have been strong for their various tours around the world. However, acrimony within the group have increased the rareness of such outings. Late in 2008, Fleetwood Mac announced that it would hit the road in spring 2009 for its first tour in about five years. As ticket sales began for the tour, the band quickly placed on TicketNews's exclusive weekly events rankings.
Lil' Wayne, Stevie Nicks tickets on sale this weekend
Tickets for the upcoming tour from Lil' Wayne, as well as tickets to upcoming concerts from Stevie Nicks are on sale throughout the weekend ending June 27 as compiled by TicketNews.
Starting off this weekend's onsales are tickets to Lil' Wayne's I'm Still Music tour. The popular rapper has concerts in Chicago, Atlanta, and Phoenix among today's onsales. Also on sale today are tickets to the late summer's Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival. Concert locations include Tampa, Toronto, and Pittsburgh, while participating rock bands include Seether, 3 Days Grace, and Avenged Sevenfold.
Stevie Nicks adds concert dates to summer 2011 tour
Five new dates are out on the summer 2011 tour itinerary for rock veteran Stevie Nicks.
Solo concerts have been added on August 15 in Atlanta, GA; August 17 in Noblesville, IN; August 20 in Cincinnati, OH; August 24 in Prior Lake, MN; and August 27 in Bethel, NY. With these additions, the iconic former Fleetwood Mac vocalist is now scheduled to visit 15 markets across the United States.
Stevie Nicks tour books late summer dates across U.S.
Velvet-voiced singer Stevie Nicks has locked in plans for a solo U.S. tour to promote her first new album in a decade and follow a successful co-headlining run earlier this year.
The rock chanteuse has confirmed 10 events so far, beginning with an August 9 concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO. Nicks will stay on the road for at least another month, with her present calendar closing September 4 at the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY.
Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks tour together for 'Heart & Soul' concert
Rock veterans and industry icons Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks have banded together for a North American tour to begin later in the spring.
The Heart & Soul Tour kicks off March 20 at the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Over the course of four weeks, the co-headliners will visit more than a dozen U.S. and Canadian cities, ultimately concluding the venture on April 16 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA.

Classic rock veterans Fleetwood Mac are closing down the North American leg of their 2009 Unleashed Tour. The final two performances will hit Canadian stages on June 23 at Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, AB, and June 24 at Rexall Place in Edmonton, AB. The acclaimed group of musicians will be back on the road this fall with a fresh round of tour dates across mainland Europe and the UK.
Fleetwood Mac tour extends North American dates through June
The iconic Fleetwood Mac will continue its greatest hits run across North America for at least another month. Over the past few weeks, new dates have been unveiled slowly for a June extension of the veteran rock band's current Unleashed Tour.
The legendary rockers have added 11 more concerts to their summer itinerary so far, picking up with a June 3 show at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, UT, and running through a June 20 performance at New Orleans Arena in New Orleans.

New tours for the day come from regrouped rockers Creed and pop rock vocalist Pink. Having mended the fissures in their relationships, the members of Creed will give it another go with about 40 concerts this summer. Pink's tour, however, is much more brief, with only five concerts confirmed and just about a month free for more U.S. dates.
Fleetwood Mac tour cancels North Carolina concert
Fleetwood Mac has cancelled its April 26 concert at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC, because of "scheduling conflicts." Ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase, and primary tickets purchased online or over the phone will be refunded automatically.
The band is still scheduled to perform the night before on April 25 at the Time Warmer Cable Arena in Charlotte, NC, and two nights later on August 28 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA.
Stevie Nicks talks ticket prices for upcoming Fleetwood Mac tour
During a teleconference this week to promote the upcoming Fleetwood Mac tour, singer Stevie Nicks spoke out against rising ticket prices.
"We wish we didn't have to charge anything," Nicks explained to press. "We wish we could go out and play. That's what we do; we're performance artists."
Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac help TD Banknorth Garden become top venue
After weeks of strong showings, TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, MA finally takes the number one spot in TicketNews's exclusive venues rankings for the week ending Sunday, February 8. The Garden’s success is largely due to its impressive roster of upcoming shows, including Fleetwood Mac, Britney Spears, and Bruce Springsteen, as well as to the current season of Boston Celtics basketball. The Garden has a power score this week of 3.43.
Hanging on to the number two slot this week is New York's Madison Square Garden (MSG). Power scoring a 3.03, the home of the New York Knicks also sees Fleetwood Mac in the coming weeks, as well as the ever popular Jimmy Buffett.
