Label mate Kristeen Young is scheduled to be the opening act for all 40 dates. Since splitting from the legendary British group the Smiths almost two decades ago, Morrissey has had considerable success as a solo artist. “You Are the Quarry,” his 2004 album, was the biggest-selling hit of his career, peaking at number 11 on the Billboard 200 chart, and he followed that with last year’s “Ringleader of the Tormentors” which also sold well, peaking at number 27.
