The Black Crowes are now expected to release their new album in early 2008, as they have pushed up the previous release date. The cd release will now coincide with a world tour, according to the bands website.
Some of the new songs they’ve played live recently include “Cold Boy Smile”, “Magic Rooster Blues”, “Share My Blanket”, “Cut From the Shadow” (from Chris and Rich’s Brothers Of A Feather Acoustic Tour), “Late Nights Again”, “It’s All For You”, and “It Takes One To Know One”.
“The band will spend the remainder of 2007 completing the recording of their new album, performing a number a new songs at assorted Black Crowes dates this year as well as work independently on outside projects,” the group announced through its site.
The Black Crowes are currently set to play shows in both June and July before kicking off a large scale tour Aug. 3 in Bethlehem, PA. The 19-city trek is set to finish in early September. Current tour dates can be found below.
