As promised last week, TicketNews is keeping you up to date on the Marilyn Manson and Slayer tour schedule. Manson is out supporting his forthcoming album, “Eat Me, Drink Me,” which is scheduled to hit stores June 5. In conjunction with the new set, the singer plans to release the film “Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carrol,” which is based on the life of the “Alice in Wonderland” creator. In a recent press statement, Manson said the movie is “nothing short of the most horrifying horror that you could ever experience.”

Slayer, which is celebrating its 26th year together, continues to support its 2006 release, “Christ Illusion.” The set peaked at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 chart and scored the band its first Grammy award: Best Metal Performance for the song “Eyes of the Insane.” The album also marked the reunion of the band’s original lineup–Tom Araya (vocals, bass), Kerry King (guitar), Jeff Hanneman (guitar) and Dave Lombardo (drums)–for the first time since 1990’s “Seasons in the Abyss.”
