TicketNews.com releases its exclusive weekly Top Ten Primary and Secondary Live Event Ticket Sellers Rankings for the week ending 5/29/07 this morning. Here is a quick taste of where the websites stand.

Looking at this week’s Top Ticket Sellers charts, one thing becomes apparent: consistency is key.

For the twelfth straight week, Ticketmaster, Tickets.com, Live Nation, TicketWeb, and Etix.com rank as Top Primary Sellers one through five. Further down, the sellers begin to orbit around an imaginary entity at about the seven and a half ranking. Wantickets and Telecharge switch places, putting the former in position seven and the latter in position eight. Groove Tickets and Tix also swap spots, taking a slightly wider path to move Groove Tickets from number nine to number six and Tix from number six to number nine. TicketsWest fights the gravitational pull and holds fast to the number ten ranking . . .

Eight of this week’s Top Secondary Sellers remain in last week’s positions. The same is true for the Top Overall Ticket Sellers. The only movement comes from TicketLiquidator.com, which edges past TicketsNow once again. The site regains number two in the Secondary Sellers rankings and reaches number three in the Overall Ticket Sellers rankings, creating a ripple of activity in an otherwise stagnant pool.
