CBS Corporation, owned by Viacom, has announced that an investment in TicketRESERVE, a privately-held online marketplace that allows consumers the ability to bid for tickets to potential championship games. Fans purchase reservations…more known as FanFORWARDs, for a specific team, artist, or event, guaranteeing them the possiblity of purchasing tickets. FanFORWARDs can then be bought and sold through a free-market trading system, or used to buy a face-value ticket should the selected event come to pass.
