Fredric D. Rosen, former President and CEO of Ticketmaster, will be the keynote speaker at the second annual TicketSummit 2007 later this month, the event’s organizers TicketNetwork announced last week.
A true heavyweight of the ticketing industry, Rosen is slated to speak about changes in the event ticketing industry over the past several years and what lies ahead. The Summit will be held July 17-19 at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. Rosen’s keynote address is scheduled for the 18th.
During his tenure as head of Ticketmaster from 1982 to 1998, the company’s revenues grew from less than $1 million to more than $2 billion annually. Upon leaving Ticketmaster, Rosen became Chairman and CEO of Stone Canyon Entertainment, part of the Cypress Group and the largest operator of traveling amusement parks in North America. . .
