Ticketmaster announced in a press release the opening of 38 new Ticket Center locations at Macy’s stores. Among others, the new centers will serve customres in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

This expansion of Ticketmaster Ticket Centers into additional Macy’s East locations builds on the Ticketmaster-Macy’s relationship cemented last year when the companies announced that Ticketmaster would continue to operate retail Ticket Centers in 278 department store locations formerly owned by May Company Department Stores. These locations were converted to the Macy’s nameplate last September following the merger of Federated Department Stores (now Macy’s, Inc.) and May Company.
“Through our extended agreement with Macy’s, fans of sports, music and other live entertainment will be better served with a greater number of locations for purchasing tickets,” said Sandy Gaare, Sr. VP of Ticket Centers for Ticketmaster. “Ticket Centers in Macy’s stores offer consumers convenient access to learn about new events coming to their area and to purchase tickets to the events they want to attend.”
