Rock band Fair to Midland will launch their first headlining tour starting on Dec. 6 at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. The band is also set to perform at the KIOZ (San Diego) Rock Before Christmas Fest on Dec. 7 with Avenged Sevenfold, Suicidal Tendencies and Atreyu. The tour winds down Dec. 29 in Houston, TX.
This has been a very successful year for the Texas alt-rockers, who have been touring non-stop around the U.S. and in Europe with featured appearances at Coachella and Bamboozle as well as at the UK’s Download Festival and on the main stages of both Germany’s Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park mega-fests. They also toured this year with the Smashing Pumpkins, Serj Tankian, Chevelle, Dir en grey and Flyleaf.
Fair to Midland’s debut album “Fables From a Mayfly” (Serjical Strike/Universal Republic) entered Billboard’s New Artist chart at #3 this past June and includes their current hit single “Tall Tales Taste Like Sour Grapes,” and modern rock hit “Dance of the Manatee.”
