Usher, who recently performed to sold out Broadway audiences in “Chicago,” is reported to be considering the lead role in a revival of the musical “Golden Boy.” Usher would play the lead role in the musical about a pianist who yearns to become a championship boxer. Sammy Davis Jr. originated the role on Broadway in 1964.
