Rising indie darlings Tapes ‘n Tapes will hit the road this spring in support of their upcoming album, “Walk It Off,” which is set for release on April 8. Following select appearances at SXSW last week, the band will start the tour in their hometown of Minneapolis, MN on April 10 and continue their way across the country throughout April and May, concluding on May 17 in Denver, CO.

Produced by Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Sleater Kinney, Weezer), “Walk It Off” is Tapes ‘N Tapes first record since 2006’s widely acclaimed “The Loon.” True to their signature sound of shaky vocals, bursts of low-fi guitars and haunting keyboard refrains, the new album hones their distinct brand of jittery rock that has found the sweet spot where experimental song structure meets melodic accessibility.
