Instrumental rock group Don Caballero is mounting its first headlining tour in support of its sixth studio album, “Punkgasm” set for an August 19 release.
The 18-date tour kicks off August 19 in Arlington, VA and currently continues through September 6 in Pittsburgh, PA with more dates to be announced. Pop/punk band Ponytail will lend support from August 19-30.
“Punkgasm” was recorded at Rust Belt Studios in Michigan with long-time producer/engineer Al Sutton.
Since its founding in 1991 by drummer Damon Che, group members have come and gone. The group disbanded in November 2000 after touring in support of “American Don.” Che re-formed the group in 2003 with its current line-up that includes Jason Jouver (bass) and Gene Doyle (guitar).
