Ticketing veteran Jeff Berman, who lists StubHub and TicketsNow among his past employers, is now setting up shop at burgeoning ticket auction site Fanprice.com.

Most recently, Berman was with Ticketmaster, where he was a vice president. He is believed to have left the company earlier this month; TicketNews was unsuccessful reaching him for comment at his new job.

At both StubHub and TicketsNow Berman was in charge of business development, first with StubHub for close to three years from 2005-07, then for a brief time with TicketsNow. He switched to Ticketmaster before the primary ticketing giant acquired TicketsNow earlier this year.

Fanprice, which burst on the scene earlier in the year and officially launched in May, is one of a host of new companies to enter the ticket industry in the past year, seeking to capitalize on the market’s overall growth and consumers’ embrace of the resale marketplace. The company is unique in allowing fans set the price they want to pay for tickets.
